This year, two positions will be open on LVW’s Board of Trustees, both for a three-year term. Here is some important information for all to know.
1) The June edition of Leisure Village West News contains the following:
• A Courtesy Nomination Form is used for self-nomination or to nominate a fellow member of the Association. Please see pages 46 and 47 in the June LVW News. These forms are also available on LVW’s webpage. Nominations will close on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at 4:00 pm.
2) Meet and Greets: These events allow residents to meet with the candidates in an informal setting to hear your ideas, concerns and answer your questions. They will take place as follows:
• CLUB ENCORE
WEDNESDAY, JULY 16, 2025 1-4 P.M.
• WILLOW HALL
FRIDAY, JULY 25, 2025 6-9 P.M.
3) CANDIDATE FORUM
• WILLOW HALL – FRIDAY, JULY 18, 2025 AT 7 PM
The forum will be broadcast live on Channel 974. If you cannot attend, you can email your question(s) to election@lvwa.net no later than Wednesday, July 16, 2025.
4) Added Day for in-person voting
• Voting machines will be available on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Willow Hall from 6-9 P.M. for last-minute voting and proxy withdrawal with proper ID.
5) ELECTION DAY FRIDAY, AUGUST 29, 2025, WILLOW HALL.
The poll will again open from 7-10 a.m., with the annual meeting starting at 10:00 a.m.
