The Recreation Department of the Leisure Village West Association aims to offer various activities to enhance the active lifestyle of our Leisure Village West residents. 

The Recreation Director and staff are responsible for coordinating trips, socials, dances, and pool parties, as well as various in-house events including Showtime. We promote special interest classes/activities, such as Ceramics, Art, and Mah-Jongg, and exercise programs including Yoga, Sticks Alive, and QiGong.

The Recreation Department oversees our Clubs and Groups, coordinating their meeting dates and special events.

Our department also gathers and edits all of the information in the monthly magazine publication, the Leisure Village West News. The Recreation staff are also responsible for updating and maintaining our Creeper, the LED sign, the Leisure Village West website and assisting residents in any way we can.
